Jesse, founder of Marvel, Calgary renovation and custom cabinetry company.
Jesse
Founder

Jesse founded Marvel in 2012, starting in his home garage where he built and installed every piece himself, with industry experience going back to 1997. Today Marvel runs its own manufacturing facility across three divisions — cabinetry, renovations and new home builds. Marvel was also the exclusive cabinetry supplier for HGTV's Celebrity IOU, creating pieces for Brad Pitt, Snoop Dogg and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Gavin, general manager at Marvel in Calgary.
Gavin
General Manager

Gavin brings 30 years of experience across the UK and Canada, spanning manufacturing operations, installation delivery and trade management. He leads shop production, on-site deliverables, the install team and the design and sales team. His strengths run across design, business development and problem-solving, and he's deliberate about building trade partnerships that hold up under pressure.

Adam, construction manager leading Marvel's Calgary renovations and new home builds.
Adam
Construction Manager

Adam leads Marvel's renovation and new home build divisions and has been with the company since 2020. He has spent his entire career in residential construction, starting on the tools in 2012 and earning his Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter designation in 2016. He is the person clients work with most closely, carrying a project from the first planning conversations through to handover.

Gill, renovation project manager at Marvel.
Gill
Renovation Project Manager

Gill wears many hats on Marvel's renovation projects — scheduling, material procurement, jobsite cleanliness, quality control and trade relations — and still puts a tool belt on when the work calls for it. He comes from a general carpentry background, holds Red Seal certification and a college diploma in renovation technology, with awards in project management.

Laura, sales lead at Marvel, Calgary custom cabinetry and renovations.
Laura
Sales

Laura leads Marvel's sales work and sits on the company's largest and most complex projects. She has been with Marvel since 2021 and built her expertise the way the rest of the team has — on real projects, under real constraints. She is exacting on the details and specifications that decide whether a custom kitchen actually works, and brings an artistic eye that pushes a design past the brief.

Kim, lead designer at Marvel Cabinetry.
Kim
Lead Designer

Kim is a residential designer and millwork drafter who gets genuinely excited about creating thoughtful, functional spaces. Unique design challenges energize her, whether she's sketching ideas, building detailed drawings, or helping clients feel confident through the process. Outside the studio she's usually painting, or at home with an opinionated cat who supervises all creative decisions.

Isabelle, cabinetry designer at Marvel in Calgary.
Isabelle

Isabelle holds a Bachelor of Interior Design from the CIDA-accredited program at Mount Royal University. She specializes in cabinetry design and engineering, blending smart functionality with bold, colourful details that bring personality into every space.

Amber, operations and administration lead at Marvel.
Amber
Operations & Administration

Amber brings over ten years in executive administration, process improvement and organizational communication. At Marvel she has led the restructuring of how product is ordered, how work is fed to the shop, and how deliveries and installations are scheduled, while taking on human resources and bookkeeping.

Marvel Growth.

Marvel began as a small shop in a three car garage and has grown into a fully equipped cabinetry facility with advanced manufacturing, dedicated finishing, and a skilled, expanding team. As the company has grown, so has its capability, allowing Marvel to take on larger projects, refine processes, and support designers, builders, and homeowners with consistent quality. What started as a hands on operation is now a collaborative team of craftspeople, designers, and project specialists working together to deliver reliable, high performance cabinetry across the Calgary area and beyond.
